A FUTURE IMAGINED Program Dates: April 16 - May 21, 2022
Golden Generations, Inc.'s Career Readiness Project (CRP), is an innovative initiative guiding at-risk youth, ages 16-23, through a holistic educational and career program. Emphasis is placed on youth in foster care, group homes, detention centers, charter schools, or those receiving services from the Department of Health and Human Resources, and/or Child Protective Services.
Kitchen Table Literary Arts Center, Inc., incorporates an open structure creative writing program for literary expression and alternative learning. With their A Future Imagined program, facilitators lead participants through reflective writing prompts that encourage goal-setting, career pathway development, identifying work and personal values, and exploring topics related to self-efficacy, self-esteem, and self-worth.
The overarching goal is empowering youth through education, mentorship, and healing for them to confidently envision themselves well prepared to succeed in whatever path they choose.
