Community as Passion, Purpose, & Protest

Our Voices, Our Community (Volume 2)

Our Voices Our Community is committed to publishing the original work of fiction, creative non-fiction, and poetry of BIPOC writers and poets. Whether you are an established writer, just getting started, or somewhere in between, we invite you to submit your short stories, narrative essays, and poetry that explore the role of community in our various pursuits of Passion, Purpose, and Protest. We seek work that illuminates how and why communities are formed, denied, challenged, celebrated, imagined, and transformed as acts of Passion, Purpose and Protest. We welcome bold storytelling, creative risk‑taking, and authentic voices that reveal community not just as a place of belonging, but as a force with a seat at the table.
